The purpose of our youth programming is to help underserved children develop college preparatory skills and interpersonal acumen. We offer the multi-year All Souls Scholar Success Tutoring Program, which is an after-school wellness, tutoring and music ensemble program. We average 35 students from Pre-K through 7th grade (ages 4-12), Monday through Thursday during the hours of 3:00-6:00PM.
A typical day includes daily Prayer, Spoken Pledge, Exercise Routine, Healthy FoodSmart Dinner from Second Harvest, School-Center-Home Van Transportation – along with a Monthly Professional Speakers Series, Tri-Weekly Science Club Meetings and Monthly Super Saturday Field Trips.
Our volunteer homework tutors, string-music lessons and Youth Ensemble, and licensed counselor work in tandem to achieve the following goals: reading/math comprehension, therapeutics, leadership development and life-aptitude enhancement. We’re in need of after-school tutors – please email us for more information on how you can volunteer: Church@AllSoulsNola.org
